Beta 8 Release Notes
New Addition
Barge-In now works properly with the enabling of pause
elimination. Playing and recording must occur simultaneously in
order for Barge-In to capture the user's response. Pause elimination
then removes initial pauses in these responses.
At the beginning of each test session, you will asked whether or
not you want to enable pause elimination.
- If you choose 'Yes', a momentary audio calibration will occur
and testing will include pause elimination.
- If you choose 'No', testing will continue as before without any
pause elimination.
*IMPORTANT NOTE: The pause removal
routine is sensitive to different microphones. Please note that it
may not work as well depending on what type you use. Also beware of
the feedback from speakers.
Latest Bug Fixes
- There is now a "Save As..." option for design
and analysis.
- Angle brackets <> can be safely used in the text fields
of prompts and responses.
- If you add a pre-recorded .wav file to any cards and save, the
file will save to directory it was initially saved in. That is,
it will overwrite your original file as opposed to being saved
elsewhere.
- Scrollbars have been added to the test window.
Known Issue
If you run too many tests in the same analysis window, the
scripts starts to run over the canvas. If you need to run many
tests, be sure to expand the size of the analysis window.
