Doing Gestures

Pen:

• If you have the Pencil tool, drag while holding the barrel button or press the Ctrl key and then drag .

Mouse:

• If you have the Pencil tool:
  • Right-drag or Ctrl-drag

Doing gestures on a TabletPC

If you're using the TabletPC platform, make sure to turn off "Symbol Commander" or other gesture recognition software that would intercept your button-drag gestures before they get to DENIM.  If gestures are behaving strangely, check this first.  (Hint: if you ever hear "sound effects" after a gesture, they are NOT coming from DENIM.)

Available Gestures

The dot in the gesture signifies where you start gesturing.

Pan
Insert Text	on top of a page
Edit Text	on top of existing text
Insert Page	on top of the canvas
Undo
Redo
Cut
Copy
Paste
Circle-to-select (must completely enclose objects to be selected)

Note: "Unix" refers to Linux, Solaris, and any other Unix-like operating system.
