Current Projects

Ika: Ika is a tabled-based application for supporting students with dyslexia. Building off of previous works that focused only on word recognition, Ika aims to support the act of reading comprehension for both single and multiple document analysis. Design choices are strongly rooted in the strengths and weaknesses associated with dyslexia as well as the results of fundamental usability studies of the target population.

Previous Projects

  • Developing new analysis methods for card sort data based on edit distance
  • Contrail filtering: a mechanism for structured flexibility in activity recognition
