I am an engineer at Google, working on Google Transit.

I received my PhD from the Computer Science & Engineeringin 2011, under the watchful eyes of my advisors Prof. Alan Borning and Prof. Dieter Fox. My dissertation, "OneBusAway: Improving the usability of public transit", combined elements of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Ubiquitous Computing (UbiComp) with the goal of helping transit riders.

I am also the lead developer for http://onebusaway.org, a site that aims to improve the usability of public transit in the Puget Sound region and beyond.
